To start a clean energy apprenticeship, you will need to meet the following key criteria:
- You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Your apprenticeship must have begun within the program’s timeframe
- You must be training towards an occupation identified as a Clean Energy occupation (see clean energy activity examples) and listed on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List
- You must be completing a Certificate III, IV, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma linked to a priority clean energy occupation
- Your employer must operate in the clean energy sector and be able to provide meaningful on-the-job experience and exposure
